The SciDataCon Organising Committee, the WDS-IPO and the CODATA Secretariat, are committed to protecting your privacy and will only collect and use your personal information as this Privacy Statement outlines.
When you submit your proposal for SciDataCon session, presentation or poster, and provide information on our website we may collect your name, email address, contact details, affiliation, among other relevant information necessary for event management and communication. The information collected is used solely to facilitate your conference experience - including management of review of your proposed contribution and related communications; event updates; conference materials; and occasional relevant communications regarding future events.
We will not share your personal data with any third party, beyond the SciDataCon Organising and Programme Committees, without your consent, except as required by law or to provide essential services related to the conference operation. You have the right to access, update, and request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at scidatacon@codata.org.
